Your coaching data is yours. We don't sell it, we don't share it with advertisers, and we don't mine it for anything. We collect what we need to run the product and nothing more.
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and the credentials needed to authenticate you (via Firebase Authentication).
Coaching data. Everything you create in CoAtch — rosters, practice plans, lineups, match records, player evaluations, tactical notes — is stored securely in your account via Google Firestore. This data belongs to you.
Usage analytics. With your consent, we use PostHog to understand how coaches use the app (page views, feature usage, session data). This is optional — you can decline at the cookie banner and nothing about the app changes.
Payment information. Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in the United States. By using CoAtch, you consent to this storage location. We apply industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls.
You can export all of your data at any time from within the CoAtch app (Settings → Backup & Restore → Export). You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. We'll process that within 30 days.
CoAtch is intended for coaches, not players. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Player data entered by a coach (name, jersey number, position) is coaching program data — it is not collected from or about the players as app users.
If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or with a notice inside the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
